ABOUT US
The Manager
Pinnacle Capital Partners Ltd (“Pinnacle”) is a private company established for the purpose of managing a Designated Investment Fund. The Manager is responsible for the management and operation of the Fund and determining how the monies forming the Fund should be invested and dispersed. Pinnacle manages the 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 Pinnacle BES Funds. Pinnacle will manage the 2011 private placement and will monitor and report on the private placement.
Pinnacle has been authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland under the Investment Intermediaries Act, 1995.
The Directors
The Directors of the Manager are partners in Horwath Bastow Charleton in Limerick – the Limerick member firm of Crowe Horwath International (Crowe Horwath) – and are experienced in all aspects of BES investments.

The Directors' relevant experience
Since 1996, the Directors have built up an extensive track record in equity and BES transactions including BES investment, tax-investments (generally), venture capital transactions, insolvency and general corporate finance ventures.
In that period they have been involved in a significant number of BES investment transactions – both by way of private placing and fund investments. Collectively they have raised, invested and advised on over 45 BES investment transactions with an aggregate value in excess of €48 million.
The Directors' involvement in these transactions has given them an in-depth knowledge and experience of fundraising and BES investment in general, across a wide range of industry sectors.
The Directors have demonstrated a commitment to building proper teams to manage capital transactions supported by extensive in-house resources in financial analysis, corporate finance research, deal-structuring, tax-planning and project management.
The Directors have a particularly strong track record of successful innovation in engineering tax-based investments across a range of tax relief and incentive schemes to ensure that the risk profile of the investment is appropriate to the investor and to the aims of the underlying reliefs. As well as BES transactions, the Directors have been responsible for leading the structuring, negotiation and/or promotion of approximately 100 tax-based investments across: seed capital, urban-renewal, healthcare, nursing homes, hotels, car parks, double rent structures, pension-"wrapping", etc.
